We send out this letter only once a year during the Yomim Noraim (High Holidays), when the hearts of Jews worldwide are open, because we believe that our work is critical for upholding the holiness of the Jewish people.

As you surely know, there is a global scourge that threatens to tear apart the fabric of Jewish life. Fueled mainly by the accessibility and anonymity of the Internet, this affliction is affecting Jews all across the religious spectrum. It is destroying more people's marriages and Yidishkeit than almost anything else today, and much of our communities' investment in education is being undermined by the strong pull of these temptations.

The GuardYourEyes organization is urgently working to turn the tide by providing the framework to help those who either need protection or who are already falling in these areas. B"H, we are seeing much success, but there is a great deal more to do, and we need your help to grow.

GuardYourEyes has helped over 2,000 Jews get back on a path of healing and self-control through our website, forums, handbooks, chizuk e-mails, hotlines and 12 step phone conferences and groups - all free. We have a website dedicated to helping people - for free - get filters for every type of digital device. We also have a hotline (718-GET-HELP) and dozens of certified computer technicians from around the world who offer hands-on assistance, at no charge.

3) PREVENTION: GuardYourEyes.com/Prevention
This website is helping prevent thousands of Jews from falling into pitfalls by raising awareness and providing education for parents, educators and teens on how to deal with the challenges of today’s environment.

We are close to finishing an overhaul of our websites to accommodate tens of thousands of Jews around the world. We are still in need of funding to maintain our network and to advertise so that all who need protection or treatment should know there is help available.
